WE KNOW HOW TO PARTY

Christina has been keeping dance floors packed and karaoke singers coming back for more for over 17 years. She founded Shine Karaoke + DJ Services in 2018 and has since grown it into one of Ottawa's busiest karaoke entertainment companies.

Equal parts organized event pro and professional hype woman, Christina loves a packed dance floor, a fearless karaoke singer and a crowd that's ready to have a ridiculously good time. Her playlists lean heavily toward 90s and 2000s throwbacks, pop, rock and country - and yes, she probably knows the words.

Cherry has been part of the Shine team since 2021, bringing killer harmonies and a lifetime of music with her. A former music teacher from California, she's the kind of person who can hear exactly where a harmony belongs - and casually jump in and make you sound way better than you thought you did.

Whether she's behind the booth at a wedding or behind the mic at karaoke, Cherry has a knack for reading a room, making people feel comfortable and keeping the good times going. She loves great music, good people and a packed dance floor - preferably with a glass of red wine waiting for her when the night is done.

Jeff has been rocking the mic with Shine since 2021, bringing big energy, an even bigger love of rock music and just the right amount of chaos to every show he hosts. Coming from a tech background, he knows his way around the gear - but it's the people in the room that make a great night for him.

Family is a huge part of Jeff's world, and his powerhouse wife is rarely too far away (and is often right there joining in on the fun). Give him a high-energy crowd, a great rock anthem and a room full of people ready to let loose, and Jeff is in his element.

Allison joined the Shine team in 2024, bringing serious frontwoman energy and plenty of experience behind the mic. As the lead singer of local bands, performing comes naturally to her - and she knows exactly how to encourage a nervous singer, hype up a great performance and keep a room entertained.

When she's not on stage or hosting karaoke, you're likely to find her spending time with her horses or juggling one of the many other things that keep her busy. We're just thankful she keeps making room for Shine in the mix - because every team needs a resident rockstar.

Lois joined the Shine team in 2025 and prefers to leave the spotlight exactly where she thinks it belongs - on the singers.

Behind the scenes, Lois keeps the songs coming, the singers supported and the night running smoothly, always happy to let everyone else have their moment to shine. We may not have photographic evidence that she's part of the team, but spend a night at one of her shows and you'll know exactly why we're happy she is.

Dan has been part of the Shine team since 2021, and while you may not find him behind the mic every week, he's never too far from the action. As our resident tech guy and occasional karaoke host, he's one of the people we call when something needs fixing, figuring out or making work when it absolutely refuses to cooperate.

He knows the equipment, understands the behind-the-scenes side of a great show and can step behind the karaoke booth whenever we need him. Dan might not always be the most visible member of the team, but when Shine needs him, he's always ready to jump in.

Nick joined the Shine team in 2024, and if there's a mixing board, an instrument or pretty much anything that makes noise nearby, he's right at home. A multi-instrumentalist with a strong knowledge of music theory, Nick brings a musician's ear to every show he hosts - and takes making everyone sound their best very seriously.

He's happiest behind the controls, fine-tuning the mix and catching the little details most people would never notice. Whether you're a seasoned singer or stepping up to the mic for the first time, you can count on Nick to make sure the sound is immaculate - because to him, the details matter.
